Allendale

A village in Northumberland with a New Year's Eve Fire Festival. The festival involves Guisers, a band playing,  and Tar Barrels which are lit at Midnight and carried to the village square by Tar Barrel Men where they are thrown onto a bonfire. When the fire has burnt down, the Guisers go Footing. The festival is known as the Allendale Baal Fire.
