Celtic is a term applied to 'that pertaining to the Celts'. The Celtic people inhabited these islands in the past and had distinct language and culture. The celtic language is preserved in Irish, Welsh, Cornish, Breton, Manx, Galician and Scottish. Very little Celtic influence is left in England.

Best known for the design work reproduced and sold on artefacts at festivals.

Celtic also refers to the continuing folk culture in those regions and a general term to describe them. As in 'Celtic Session' or 'Celtic Music'.

The Celtic calendar gives us the major celebration points in the year. The major Beltane and Samhain, the lesser Imbolc and Lughnasadh and the Solstices and Equinoxes. Beltane corresponds to May Day and Samhain with Halloween / Guy Fawkes.
