Cheswold Morris

cheswold morrisFormed in about 1977 after the Queen's Jubilee when High Melton Morris briefly reformed, they adopted the colours of Samuel Smith's Old Brewery Ale (black, white and gold) and danced a mixture of Cotswold and Border morris. Sam Smith's was the brewery that owned the pub that they practised in - The Corporation Brewery Taps in Doncaster which was also home for a long time to Doncaster Folk Club.
