Clifford Essex

English Banjo Maker

Clifford Essex formed his company for making banjos in London in 1900 after he parted from Cammeyer and the early examples were all made by the trade and re-sold by Essex. He went on to establish his own factory and bagan to absorb some of the manufacturing load.
