Get Started

An early member of the Woodwind family. It is a pipe bent into the shape of a 'J' and is similar on other respects to a Bagpipe Chanter. The Reed is covered by a windcap and they have a limited range. They are not normally thought of as Chromatic as they are based on the natural harmonic sequence of the pipe. Holes do allow other notes. They are made in varous sizes from Soprano to Bass to be played ensemble.
