De Danann

An Irish Folk Rock Group formed in Galway in 1974. They took their name from Tuatha De Danann - the children of the Goddess Danu.

Members: Frankie Gavin (Fiddle), Alec Finn (Guitar, Bouzouki), Johnny McDonagh (Bodhran) ,Charlie Piggott (Banjo), Dolores Keane (vocals).

Other Members: Johnny Moynihan, Mary Black, Jackie Daly, Colm Murphy, Aidan Coffey, Tommie Fleming
