Duelling Banjos

The bane of every banjo player's life. The public love the Duelling Banjos episode from the Film Deliverance. It was actually a piece of music to show the difference between the 5-string banjo and the Tenor Banjo composed by Arthur Smith and Don Reno in 1955 as Feuding Banjos. In the film, the Tenor Banjo was supposed to float away down river in one scene. Banjos don't float so a guitar was substituted.
