English Country Blues Band

A Band formed in 1981 when Rod Stradling left Old Swan Band and joined forces with Ian Anderson, Maggie Holland, Chris Coe, Sue Harris and John Maxwell. It is another fusion or maybe just an excursion to the blusier side of Folk and the avoidance of traditional pigeon holing. AS they say on their album Unruly:-

'breakdowns, blues and ballads from the sussex/mississippi border'

Guests in recording included John Kirkpatrick, Danny Stradling, Nic Jones and Dave Peabody. 

For those interested in band evolution, ECBB evolved to become Tiger Moth.
