EynshamA village in Oxfordshire and a Cotswold Morris tradition. A Whitsun tradition that had ceased before Sharp collected the tradition in 1908 although he reported dancing still happened - just not as an annual event. He referred to a "scratch" side. The Fool was known as Feathers. Sharp reports that the dance was remarkable for the great beauty of its movements which surprised him Costume Short smock of white holland with pleated front with rosettes, high hat, breeches, blue-gray stockings, arm and wrist ribbons, knee rosettes.
