Hobgoblin

A chain of shops catering for the Traditional Musician. They stock a wide range of folk instruments and also trade in second hand instruments. All those who work in the shops are actively involved in Folk Music. The idea started from personal experience of the difficulty of finding traditional instruments in the 1970s.

They began in 1976 as a market stall and moved on to a shop in Crawley which is the base and has the widest range of Concertinas of all their shops. They now have 10 shops in England and one in San Francisco and are regularly seen at Folk Festivals all over the UK.
