A founder member of the Oyster Band for whom he played Bass and Guitar. A singer songwriter and producer (Michelle Shocked).

Now plays in Used Notes (Country Dance Band) with Chris Taylor, Dan Quinn and Jim Younger and in the Sussex Pistols (another Country Dance Band) with Ben Paley and Bing Lyle.
