Iceland

Iceland is a country in Scandinavia. It was in Iceland that the Norse Sagas were written.

Songs tend to be Ballads with a touch of the Sagas. There are sung pieces and chanted pieces called Rimur.

Traditional Instrument is the Langspil - a fretted Dulcimer.
