Lullabies

 A Lullaby is a song sung to children especially young ones to help induce sleepiness. They are calm and soothing tunes with no surprises melodically or harmonically. They are amongst the commonest shared lyrics of any song type together with Nursery Rhymes.

Some lullabies are known classical works (Brahms) or have become mainstream songs (Summertime)
