Plectrum Banjo

Plectrum Banjo A long necked 4 string Banjo with typically 22 Frets from the Nut to the body (the Tenor Banjo has 17 or 19). It is usually tuned CGBD or the Chicago tuning of DGBE (top 4 strings of a Guitar) and is played with a Plectrum as the name suggests. It is more used in Jazz and Ragtime than Folk but some players prefer Plectrum over Tenor.
