Sherborne

A village in Gloucestershire and a Cotswold Morris tradition. Dancing had discontinued by about 1870 but was described as 'a desperate Morris place' - taken to mean a position of some standing. There are several distinctive features of Sherborne such as the use of the galley and the unusual 4 step.
