SomersetA county in South West England between Gloucestershire and Devon.
Famous for Apples and Cider and therefore Wassailing. Also noted for Punky Night at the villages of Hinton St George and Chiselborough on the last Thursday in October. It is the tradition of carving candle lanterns out of root vegetables (not pumpkins) also known as Jack-O-Lantern. There is a traditional rhyme:
