Sets of 4 couples in a standard square. Ladies on the right. All figures except 5 begin by honouring partner and then corner.

Figure 1

• 1st lady, 2nd man advance and retire,
• Advance, swing, return to place.
• 1st and 2nd couple change places (1st inside)
• 1st and 2nd couple change places back (2nd inside)
• All set (balancez) to corner partner and turn corners to place.
• Repeat, 2nd lady, 1st man
• Repeat, 3rd lady, 4th man
• Repeat, 4th lady, 3rd man

Figure 2

• 1st couple advance and retire
• 1st couple advance to centre, turn lady to face partner
• 1st couple set and turn to place
• Side couples join to form lines of 4
• Lines advance and retire
• Lines advance and turn partners back to place.
• Repeat with 2nd couple
• Repeat with 3rd couple
• Repeat with 4th couple

Figure 3

• 1st lady advances
• 1st gentleman advances
• Lady retires and slow curtseys, Gentleman slow bows and retires
• All ladies advance to centre, right hands to each other and left hand to Gentleman
• Then left hands to each other and right to Gentleman and back to place (double chain)
• Repeat with 2nd couple
• Repeat with 3rd couple
• Repeat with 4th couple

Figure 4 Visiting

• 1st couple visits couple to their Right, both bow and curtsey
• 1st couple continue visit past second to fourth, both bow and curtsey
• Right Hands around with that couple, then Left Hands around.
• Back to place
• Repeat with 2nd couple
• Repeat with 3rd couple
• Repeat with 4th couple.

Figure 5 Chain

• All Grand Chain 1/2 way round, balance and honour partners.
• Continue grand chain to place and honour partners.
• 1st couple promenade the set and return to place facing up
• Side couple to right falls in behind then side couple to left and 2nd couple stay as is
• There is now a double line facing up. Gents chasse right, Ladies chasse left and back
• Top couple cast out and rest follow. Lines reform.
• The two lines advance and retreat holding hands in line
• The two lines advance and collect partners, swing back to place
• Grand Chain & Repeat with 2nd couple
• Grand Chain & Repeat with 3rd couple
• Grand Chain & Repeat with 4th couple
• Grand Chain to finish
