Tim Edey

An incredible multi-instrumentalist (Melodeon, Guitar, Banjo, Bouzouki, Trumpet, Keyboard ....), composer and producer from Kent although he divides his time between Kent and Dingle.
Tim plays with his own band (The Tim Edey Band), Seamus Begley, Session A9, Jon Sanders, Brendan Power, Lucy Randall, The Michael McGoldrick Band and more.
He has played with Sharon Shannon and with the Magic of the Dance tour as well as Phil Cunningham, John McCusker, Donal Lunny, Altan, Frankie Gavin, Steve Cooney, Steafan Hannigan and the list goes on.
His earlier influences were from the Kent Folk scene where he played with and learnt from Enda McCabe, Saskia Tomkins, Ramona & Zinta Egle and Andy Renshaw (Camine) and when he is in Kent and has time to himself still drops in to local sessions and is a most generous musician.
