Tim Hart

 Born in Lincoln but brought up in St Albans where his father was vicar of St Saviour's Church. It was there he met Maddy Prior and began performing as a duo from 1966.

In 1970, they joined Steeleye Span and remained constant members of the band.Tim has also recorded solo work and eventually left Steeleye in 1982. After being a record producer for a group called the Monochrome Set, he departed to live in the Canary Islands due to ill health where he became a writer and photographer.
